Fallenstar peered into the empty clearing. RiverClan was first yet again. It was probably because they lived so close to the island that the clans meeted upon, but Fallenstar wasn't bothered by it. He trotted into the clearing and jumped onto the tree. He slithered up the branches until he reached his favorite perch. Then he sat and waited for the other clans to arrive as RiverClan filed into the clearing.

A russet tom leaded a group of cats that soon passed the Windclan border and on toward the island of which the clans meet every moon. He could feel the distress all aorund him. His clan had been acting very funny ever sense he had announced the horrible news. He dared not mention of it.. For it'll be very very bad and will cause a possible riot of a time of peace. He feared the worst would happen if he spoke of it. He hoped his clan agreed on him keeping it secret. There had been whispers behind his back of some sort of rebllion.. One he never imagined would ever happen.
He walked steadily on over the log and soon onto his spot. He met no Riverclan's eyes. He calmly jumped onto his spot with expert ease. He then waited as his clan went among friends and chatted. Sometimes he felt left out. Though other times he realized it was his choice not to associate with the other clans and speak. He just felt it was not his job as leader. Then.. It was wasn't it?
Shockpaw couldn't believe it. He pounced up and down as he went to his very first gathering. He had just turned into an apprentice. He just couldn't believe it. His paws itched to run and pounce and do well everything. He soon reached the legendary log and went to cross it only to slip and fall.. He was instantly picked out of the water by a Riverclan warrior to his embarrassment. When he made it to the ground of the island he immediately he adventured further and further form the meeting place.. Soon getting lost.. Well.. Until he saw a bug and yowled in fear like a kitten who got lost. He turned and ran amazingly back to the meeting place. Thunderclan had arrived by this time and he ran into one of the young apprentices. with a BAM!

LIONSTAR-Lionstar led her clan into the island, her fiery pelt acting as a beacon for the Shadowclan cats. She briefly glanced around and saw the other clans who had already arrived. She, the sole female leader, was also young and not yet used to leading. The clans in turmoil...an unfortunate time to be chosen to lead. What would the other leaders say? Would they claim that everything is going alright in their clans, when of course, everywhere cats are living a life without Starclan? A life without a guiding paw and care from above?
Her fierce amber eyes took a look at the cats from other clans. She could feel pain, suffering, and unhappiness all around her. Living in the clans was a hard life, a life different from many kittypets living in leisure with their twoleg masters...but she sensed that their lives were going to become more difficult soon. Sighing, she took her place nearby the other two leaders. She nodded at them. She didn't know much about the other leaders, not as much as she should... Perhaps that could be a problem. Lionstar made a note to pay careful attention to everything going on in this gathering.

He was very excited; it was his first Gathering EVER. It didn't matter that he'd have to share the moment with his siblings. It didn't matter that Duststar was too sick to come. It only mattered that he'd become a sensation tonight in front of everyone. He walked in, head up high, running his eyes over all of the cats present. Whoa, there sure was a lot of them. Well, who cares! He'd impress a few she-cats, not make a fool of himself, show the other clans who was boss, and go home unscathed. StarClan wasn't the point of this Gathering obviously. No one really believed in them anymore anyway.
Mudpaw walked past a RiverClan tom who appeared to be the same as as he. He had literally just bowled a pretty ThunderClan apprentice off of her feet. I better help her up, then woo her and make her one of the many she-cats who adore me. Mudpaw put on a flirty yet suave look on his face and walked up to her. Hey there. Are you all right? He flashed her a small smile as he helped her to her feet, but nothing that would make him look over-exuberant or crazy. Then Mudpaw turned to the clumsy RiverClan apprentice. Don't you have the sense to watch out for cats? Especially pretty cats! If you're going to knock anyone out, take out some ugly warrior, not a pretty she-cat like her! He growled at the stupid tom and smiled at the she-cat again. And yes, I do mean it. You are pretty.

Two green eyes peered out from a branch on the Great Oak. Fallestar noticed that Shockpaw had in fact knocked over a pretty apprentice from ThunderClan. Fallenstar shook his head, blushing. Why did the clumsy tom always have to make a fool of himself? THe scene had already attracted quite a bit of commotion. He would have gotten down and settled everyone down, but he didn't want to lose his position on the tree.

Falconpaw rolled his eyes at the formality of it all. It was just his first Gathering. Nothing that important. He laughed to himself as the RiverClan apprentice made a fool of himself. However, it ticked him off that his brother decided to play the part of the handsome knight in shining armor and save the damsel in distress. Falconpaw squinted his eyes as he tried to get a better look at this damsel. She was a pretty whtie she-cat with blue eyes. So far, she'd done and said nothing. However, the RiverClan leader looked quite embarrassed at the scene. Falconapw smirked. Fish-pelts. If only they'd act liek normal cats and stay out of the water. Maybe then it wouldn't flood their brains.

Her legs were shaking a bit, but not from fright. No, of course not. She would go through this like any apprentice before her had. Her first Gathering. Wishpaw twitched one ear. She was exited. She would get to meet cats from other Clans! She might even get herself a best friend... other than Stonepaw, of course! Wishpaw followed the rest of her Clan into the group of RiverClan cats already there. She looked around, amazed. Although she knew there was only one other Clan here, there just seemed to be a lot of commotion. Hardly noticing anything, she stood still in her spot.
Stopping, though, was a mistake. She felt something hit her left side, and the pretty she-cat went sprawling. She fell onto the ground and hissed, “Oomph!” Dazed, she felt almost nothing as another cat helped her up. She leaned heavily on his shoulders, but lightly flinched when she scented him. WindClan. Ugh. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts
because it could be a much worse scent, she turned towards him with a sparkling grin. “Thank you,” she purred, then turned to see who had knocked her down. He was standing there, sort of awkward in her eyes. She wanted to tell him to watch where he was going, but the look on his face looked so apologetic after the WindClan telling him off, she decided not to. She only caught the last part of what the WindClanner was saying, but what she heard was enough. No, she wasn’t that pretty.
Glancing up at him and blinking her soulful blue eyes slowly, she meowed, “Yes I’m fine.” She took a breath, then asked, “You mean that? Am I really pretty?” She felt her cheeks burn, and she looked away, eyes sparkling. She had seen enough of him to notice his attitude was a bit boastful, so she turned towards the RiverClan cat. She looked him over and smiled a small smile to herself. He was a cute one, that was for sure. Hoping that the two cats hadn’t noticed her staring at them, she decided to introduce herself. In a voice like bells, she laughed, “Well wasn’t this an interesting way to meet? I’m Wishpaw, by the way. ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice, at your service.” She turned to wink at the RiverClanner.
“And who would you two be?” Then she felt eyes burning onto the back of her head, so she whipped her head around to see another tom staring at her. She turned her head away, feeling self-conscious. Why was she getting so many weird looks today? To tell the truth, Wishpaw had no idea what she would do if he came up to talk to her.

Lightswallow followed her leader into the Gathering. Last Gathering she had made a bit of a fool of herself tripping over a dozen cats, but it wouldn’t happen this time. She was going to make her Clan proud of her. Glancing straight ahead so as not to trip over anyone, the RiverClan she-cat made her way to the back of the group of cats lounging around.
While she sat, licking her paws and rubbing them against her ears to wash them, she waited for her mate. She knew that he was probably off talking to some other cats, but she was sure that after a while he would make his way over to her. Instead, she took the time to watch other cats. There wasn’t much going on. A couple of cats were sharing tongues a few foxlengths away, two warriors from other Clans were glaring at each other, and one of the cats near the front of the Gathering was staring at something. Suddenly interested, she followed his gaze to see a pretty white apprentice get bowled over.
Glancing harder, she realized that it was Shockpaw! The deputy resisted the urge to head over there and make sure nothing bad was going on since this was his first gathering, but she waited it out. Another tom helped up the she-cat, and he seemed to be telling Shockpaw something. A normal spat, nothing about it. Bored again, Lightswallow turned her head to see what else was going on.

The calico she-cat wrapped her tail around her paws as she leaned against Halfmoon. It was a time of peace to be here; she was happy to get to go to this Gathering with him. She had missed the last one, but had heard that the RiverClan deputy had made a spectacle of herself. Ahh, RiverClan, she laughed to herself. Why did they always do such silly things?
Hearing a commotion behind her, she turned her head and watched as a RiverClan apprentice ran straight into a white she-cat, bowling her over. As if to prove her point, she spoke aloud, “Why can’t RiverClan cats stay on their paws?” A voice from her other side a few mouselengths away shrugged and meowed, “I guess they’re so used to water that they forget how to walk like a normal cat.”
Sorrelfeather giggled once, but kept watching intently. Another tom had helped her up and was obviously telling off the RiverClanner. She wondered if they knew each other, but thought nothing else of it as she turned her head and waited on the Gathering to begin. Something told her this was going to be a big one.

Sharptstar watched as his clan started to settle down. He caught the scent of the Windclanners from the breeze before they showed up. He noticed them a one by one appear from the trees and waters. When A sudden commotion got his attention. He noticed on the very tip of his eyes sight a small blur seemingly slammed into a small cat. He looked in the direction to see the young apprentice. He didn't recognize the apprentice. However assumed it was a Riverclan cat, for the cats had been there and the Windclan had just arrived. He saw this Windclan cat small assuming another young apprentice appear and mouth at the Riverclan apprentice then suddenly flirt with the white she-cat. The young tom obviously knew nothing about the she-cat being a Medicine cat apprentice. Sharpstar made a mental note to keep an eye out for all the toms that talked or flirted with the Medicine cat apprentice. He would like to see each and everyone's reaction. It may bring up a tad amusement after what had happened these last few days.
He felt the Riverclan leader the cat closest to him seemingly to tense up. It was obvious that the young apprentice was embarrassing his own clan... Sharpstar could not help but turn to look at the leader. He seemingly showed the impression of embarrassment. He simply shrugged it off. They had all been there once. Then.. His mind flashed to his past and well.. He never had that problem. If he recalled right. He was tense and stayed in the shadows his first Gathering. He didn't like being apprenticed to his own father. Simply because their bodies were more Windclan than Thunderclan. If one was to make a comparison this moment you could tell the Windclan leader and the Thunderclan leader had some sort of relationship down the line. They both had that tall look. They both had russet seemingly colored fur. They both had tall ears and skinny bodies.
Soon a bright flaming cat emerged from the log. They all knew who that was. The leader of Shadowclan acting like a beacon. She gracefully took her spot among the leader. Sharpstar made a motion for the gathering to wait a few moments longer. It had been a long week. They can wait before adjourning. Not only that but they had yet to learn of the news about why Windclan leader was not there. That of which was making Sharpstar very curious. He was tempted to step down to talk to the deputy of Windclan to learn more.
Shockpaw felt the impact and knew only that he landed on soft white fur. He was still recovering when he suddenly felt himself sliding off the white furred nice smelling she-cat. He landed on the complete dirt and looked up. his mind hadn't even registered yet that he was on the dirt. If he did.. Well he would've flipped out and well be licking himself really fast only to trip and fall over again.. He was however too busy staring into the most prettiest fur and face. He had ever set eyes on. He didn't even notice the Windclan tom and his comments. He was too busy staring at the she-cat. He felt his heart suddenly lift and ache for her. When she finally spoke, asking if she was pretty Shockpaw felt his daze somewhat beginning to end. Then the she-cat turned back to him..
well first of his daze began to return.. This she-cat had the most prettiest eyes.. I mean he felt as if he would never be happy ever again about the river.. This she-cat was the river. He felt himself swimming in it. Though he has yet to live how to swim or well.. Do anything having to do with normal Riverclan apprentices. His mentor wasn't the best... He seemed to embarrassed or cranky.
Oh then the she-cat start laughing.. Her voice made the world of Shockpaw turn upside down. He felt as if he never heard such the greatest noise. EVER. he wanted to make her laugh again and again. The she talked about how it was an itnresting meeting. All Shockpaw could do was nod and not even noticing his mouth hiting the ground from being so shocked and well amazed by this she-cat. When she asked who he was. His mind had a moment.. It was under mental back-up mood and well it ahd taken away. When he suddenly remembered he remembered he hated the dirt and well.. Was on the ground next to the most prettiest and perfect she-cat he had ever met. His first words to her...... "Dirt!"
He suddenly jumped up and began to run circles not thinking on how to clean himself. He kind of lost it in his adrenaline rush that you clean by calmly licking.. not running and licking. He ended up pretty much running into the tom... That had seemingly appeared out of no where that was his size.
Robinpaw - Windclan - She-cat A she-cat followed behind her brothers closely. She was actually scared of the gathering. She was scared as to what they'll say about her. She felt tiny next to her biggest brother and just felt weird next to her other. Her fur was different colors and it was ginger and well... there was a lot of different things..... She just couldn't think of them right now for that fear and pressure seemed to build up as she got closer. She reached the log and she feared she would slip. Well she made it across. To see her weirdo brother suddenly heading a random direction. She followed close to Falconpaw hoping to seem unnoticeable to his greatness. She noticed this pretty white she-cat that was leaning against her brother. He seemed to be speaking to her in a flirting way. Robinpaw felt even worse as she caught glimpses of the she-cat's eyes, body staure, adn perfectness. She wanted to be that she-cat.. She knew she never would be.. But she wanted to. Robinpaw didn't even notice the tom on the ground. well until the white she-cat looked over to him. Robinpaw wondered what happened to him. Began to think what would happen if that had happened to her. The young tom suddenly yowled or was it a meow? The simple word dirt and was suddenly.. What seemed to Robinpaw a mix of licking to clean his fur to.. well attacking her brother. Though she focused more on the lciking it made her laugh and loosen up a tad. She ran over there laughing hard and yelled. "Hey bro!! You alright!' she felt much joy at this very embarrassing moment. She actually felt like she was going to enjoy this gathering. She suddenly felt a small bit of confidence that made her ready for being introduced as a new apprentice. For well right now... [/blockquote]

Flutterpaw- Flutterpaw creeped into the clearing. She glanced around at all the cats in the clearing. 'So many cats!' the she-cat thought. This was her first gathering and she was excited. The young apprentice walked into the clearing, searching for someone to chat with. She wasn't watching where she stepped and walked into a calico she-cat. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run in to you.", Flutterpaw meowed to Sorrelfeather.

Fallenstar watched as all four clans arrived. Sharpstar looked a bit anxious, and Lionstar did as well. He couldn't spot Duststar however. He must not be here. He looked down at th other leaders as Lionstar clambered up to ShadowClan's branch. Should we start?

Falconpaw wasn't really paying much attention until he felt something bowl into him. It was the clumsy RiverClan apprentice. he looked like he was going insane trying to lick himself. Falconpaw hissed at the tom. Watch where you're going, will you? I'd rather leave this gathering in one piece than covered with bruises given to me by some mangy fish-brain! Falconpaw snarled at the tom and backed away, smoothing down his fur. His hackles had rose with his surprise and anger. He then noticed his sister was speaking to him. I'm fine. Don't you have some friends you can play with? Falconpaw wasn't intentionally being mean, but it just came out. He was still a little ruffled too.

*Whitepaw & Ashflower*
Whitepaw followed close behind Fallenstar and once he leapped in to the tree. She had to go her own way for now with her Clan mates. That's when she saw Shockpaw following a bug and blushed. This was his frist gather and so was it her own frist time here. Whitepaw walked around the gathering of other cats and past cats talking or grooming each out. Whitepaw thinks she even past a couple of warriors glaring at each other. Once she found a high spot to sit, she watched what was going on around her as she licked on of her snow white front paws. Things in all the Clans were going crazy it what Whitepaw thought and yet she knew nothing about any problems in the other clans. Just than she looked up from grooming herself and watched as Shockpaw bowled over a small she cat. It was the new ThunderClan Meddy cat apprentice, if what she's heared from other warriors is ture. Whitepaw watched as a WindClan apprentice helped up little miss perfact and told her how pretty she was. Whitepaw was a very good lip reader and knew everything they were saying. She looked at Shockpaw as he went insane over a little bit of dirt being on his fur. Whitepaw shook her head slowly as this was just a stuped fight to get in to. Whitepaw sighed as she just sat there alone.
Ashflower a ash gray she cat with sea foam green eyes follow her clanmates in to the gathering. It has been a while since shes been here. Well it wasn't her felt, she had kits about five moons ago and had to ask her learn if she could come this time. Another queen was watchinf over Pinekit and Angelkit to night until her return. The slim beauty what through the crowed of cats and found a place in ThunderClans spot to sit or so she thought it was ThunderClans spot. Ashflower already missed her kits and was kind of worried about them getting out of camp again. Ashflower sighed as she remembered the time they did get out of camp and a badger almost got them. They had been lucky that a patrol found them just before that monster got them. She was ripped from her thoughts from what sounded like talk fighting or what ever. It looked like a RiverClan apprentice had knocked over Wishpaw the ThunderClan Meddy cat and a windclan apprentice helped her up. But was yelling at the other tom to watch were he was going and to not knock over pretty she cats like Wishpaw. Ashflower sighed again "Maybe I should get Wishpaw out of this." she thought. But than thought "Wishpaw is a big girl, she can take care of herself" as she turned back to looking around gathering to see if maybe Ashcloud was there.

BREEZEPAW I was apparently more special. Why? Legs shaky, Breezepaw followed his fellow clanmates and stopped at the island. He eyed the large, tangled log down, his bright green eyes excited and scared. The young tom put his golden paw down on the base of the tree, and began to slowly stalk his way over the bridge. He didn't want to cause any back-up, so he hurried, trying to not let his fear show. Breezepaw look around at the island, amazed that it could hold the number of cats it did. The apprentice jumped off the log but almost collided into another cat. His cheeks turning red, he muttered a sorry and headed over to a slightly less filled area, and it turned out, it was mainly filled with apprentices.
Breezepaw's eyes looked over most of the cats, and he could distinguish which cats belonged to what clan without even scenting them. But Breezepaw was the odd-ball out. He looked like he would belong to WindClan, and he should belong to WindClan, but yet, he smelt like a ThunderClan. But at least he could share that connection with Sharpstar. The two toms look almost identical, except for the eyes. Yet, Breezepaw was unaware of his leader's past, and wondered if his was similar. The tom slowly padded over to a small group of ThunderClan and WindClan apprentices, hoping that one would talk to him. {Words: 229 } {Tag: Everybody:P} {Notes: Not my best posting:P} {Other: Hope someone talks to him.}

[OOC: cookie went for vacation remember? back to post. oh and sorry about them being short. I can't think today. xD] The beautiful white she-cat stared open-mouthed as the tom raced in circles, yelling the word 'dirt'. She shook her head and sighed; she knew RiverClan cats were crazy, but not this psycho! Wishpaw felt she should stop him, but thought for a moment. Dirt. Dirt? DIRT! Coming to a conclusion, she meowed, "Oh! You must be Dirtpaw!" Happy with herself for thinking of it, she fluffed her tail out and accidently hit the handsome WindClan cat beside her. Blinking her eyes, she muttered 'sorry', but it came out in a whisper so she didn't know if he had heard her. Wishpaw turned her eyes once more to the tom that had been giving her a weird look earlier and watched in awe as Dirtpaw slammed into him. Wishpaw cringed at the sight, and raced over to him to see if he was alright. Another she-cat got there first, however. She laughed and said something to him, and he meowed something back to her. Wishpaw pushed through and stood beside both of them. "Hello," she meowed quietly, watching the tom to make sure he was alright. The ThunderClan apprentice sat so as not to appear threatening or anything like that. She turned her head once to lock eyes with a tom-cat with bright green eyes. She blinked gratefully at him, thankful that he was not giving her odd looks like most of the other cats in the Gathering after she had been bowled over. She made a mental note to go meet him once the leaders had begun to speak.

The RiverClan deputy drug her eyes around, simply bored. The leaders were about to speak, she could tell. But until then she needed something to do. Sighing reluctantly, she picked herself up to go chat with another cat. Lightswallow noticed an ash gray cat and picked her way through others over to her. The she-cat noticed Whitepaw sitting alone and gave her a slight smile and a nod, then sat down a couple of mousetails away from the gray cat to give room. "How do you think this gathering's going to go," she said by way of greeting, a peaceful look in her eyes.

Sorrelfeather turned her head back to the leaders and felt a slight push on her side. She turned around in surprise to see Flutterpaw beside her. "Oh hello," she meowed warmly to the medicine cat. "It's quite alright. How are you, hun?" she asked, knowing that the apprentice was bound to be nervous. After all, Sorrelfeather mused, she had been terrified her first gathering. Sighing a contented sigh, she lay down to get more comfortable, but was conscious of not laying too hard on her belly. She was going to have kits, after all.

"I-i'm good. How are you?", Flutterpaw stammered. She looked Sorrelfeather up and down and realized she was pregnant. She managed to catch her breath. Flutterpaw was quite nervous considering this was her first gathering. The young apprentice nodded to Sorrelfeather's assumed mate.
