Appearance Description:

Halfmoon is a black van tom. He is almost entirely white, except for a splotch of black on his head and a solid black tail. His tail is long for a feral cat, and his eyes are large and round. His head and paws are rounded also. Halfmoon is an average sized cat. He is not big or small, and he is not lean or muscular. He is simply in between. Halfmoon's large eyes are a pale green. In certain lights, they appear gray, but in reality they are a solid pale green.

Personality Description:

Halfmoon is the best of both worlds, in a way. When nothing is really concerning him, he is mellow and gentle. Halfmoon is very patient, to an extent that he could try to teach a stubborn apprentice an easy move all day without showing any signs of anger. It is this quality that makes him good at hunting. He doesn't mind waiting for what seems like moons until the squirrel lets its guard down.

However, Halfmoon is stern when he needs to be. If someone is in trouble or if the clan is panicking, he will calm people down. He retains a sense of authority when the clan needs him. Cats often say he would make a good deputy, but he says he's not up for the challenge.

Halfmoon is truly and deeply in love with Sorrelfeather. He would lose his life for her. Her wish is his command. Halfmoon's nightmares are always about losing her. He knows she is expecting, and because of that, he is ever more watchful over her. In his eyes, they will be together until the end, and he knows that if she dies, he won't last much longer.

History:

Sorrelfeather and Halfmoon were meant to be together from the very beginning. Even before they were born, Ravenfrost and Berrycloud were good friends. Their bond strengthened even more when their kits were born only a few days apart. The two did everything together. Nightkit and Sorrelkit played with each other, ate with each other, and slept with each other. The two kits were obviously best friends. Sorrelkit was even there for Nightkit when Greengaze passed away.

Once Nightkit and Sorrelkit became Moonpaw and Sorrelpaw, Moonpaw's relationship altered slightly. He began seeing Sorrelpaw as more than a friend. His crush on her developed further as they trained and hunted together. Before he knew it, he was in love with Sorrelpaw. Moonpaw did have a darker side to his apprenticehood, however. His mother, ravenfrost, unexpectedly disappeared one day while off hunting, and the clan hasn't seen her since. She is presumably dead.

It wasn't until warriorhood that Halfmoon realized that Sorrelfeather had feelings for him too. They soon became lovers. The two would escape from camp every now and then to have a little fun with each other. Soon, Sorrelfeather became pregnant. Halfmoon then became watchful of everything she did, to the point that she was slightly annoyed at times. Everytime, though, he told her it was for her own good. And he meant it.
