The leader of the clan padded slowly to reach his clan camp. Then he made his way to the highrock. He gave the yowl to call the camp to the center. His mind still flashed of the horrors he had seen and witnessed. He gave a small shiver of his death.. Though soon gathered his courage and faced the clan. He would have to make the wisest decisions starting now. The wisest would be to announce the bad news without having any cat panic. He waited calmly at the base of the rock. He gave the few cuts that were to big to heal a lick. Night's given life had heal most of them. Enough to give him an almost newly body. However the rest were just to big. It was pretty obvious that he was in some sort of battle. One that looked to be big. Only the most observant of cat's would recognize him losing a life. Very few cats had seen a leader use a life.
That however was not his announcement. His announcement had to do with what had caused him to die. The territory.. It was such a horrid state he new not of what to do. He looked forward to Starclan however few cats still believe. The only reason he still believe was because he had seen them with his own eyes. They had gave him his lives. They had been with him through thick and thin. It was not until these last 30 moons that they seemed to have just vanished. The young new warriors and blood seemingly forgotten the great stars. Only their parents still seem to be hanging onto that hope. It would be the young blood that will tare the clan apart.
He waited for his clan to gather.

She would need it for the upcoming seasons; green-cough epidemics attacked quickly and without warning. She never ran out of anything either; she had to be prepared for the worst. She trotted cheerfully into her den, setting her pile of herbs into her catmint stash. Birdsong took a big sniff before walking back out into the clearing, breathing in the remnants of the scent of the refreshing herbs.
Birdsong, however, did not expect to see her leader, on this beautiful day, coming back from a patrol ragged and beat-up. She rushed upon him, instantly intrigued and shocked. "Sharpstar!" Birdsong almost shouted into his ear. "What happened to you?!" without waiting for an answer, she rushed back into her den, sifting though her pile of ferns and horsetail to find the freshest leaves she had. She would need a lot to help her leader. Grabbing the pile of plants, she rushed back o Sharpstar's side, beginning to chew the horsetail into a poultice that she would apply to his open wounds. Birdsong would try to find someone to go get cobwebs. Oh, what she would do for an apprentice right now! these dry bones cry for you |

The first cat to arrive was his mate Flutterheart. The pretty white and ginger she-cat with all her grace, saw him and well fainted. Making Sharpstar shake his head when he heard a voice. Who he could quickly tell was the medicine cat. He was about to tell her not to worry when she disappeared to get some herbs to help him. He let out a sigh and shook his head. His sister walked up in her defiance she held his saddened with a sharp gaze. Challenging him to speak out what happened. You could tell she never liked him. Especially after they were made warriors. She just never loosened up. Not even after giving birth.
He looked around for other warriors of the clan. They were whispering now he could tell. There would be much talk in the clan. He felt the pressure of being leader suddenly hit his shoulders. He was about to announce horrible news. They all knew form his looks. At least it wasn't the other clans that did this. At least there wouldn't be another war with another clan. He did not want to lose his clan. Not now. Not ever. He would make the wisest choices to protect his clan till the end. Even if they were to betray him.
He waited a little longer for more of the clan-mates to arrive. He mentally counted how many were there and who wasn't.

Angelwing stopped dead in her tracks and felt something was wrong. She held a nice vole in her mouth but something wasn't right. She dropped the vole and she quickly turned around and raced back to camp. She could feel her heart pounding and the blood pumping in her ears, she almost forgot about the kill she made but this was more important then anything else.
She panted at the entrance of the camp and saw her leader with the medicine cat right next to him. Without hesitation she jumped down to the center of the camp and padded up to her leader and almost touched his nose with hers and she quietly mewed, "Everything is going to be okay Sharpstar, Birdsong and I are here.." She took a step back and looked at the medicine cat and asked, "Did he tell you who did this?" she asked in a clam voice.
Angelwing was never the type who would quickly lash out for answers but waited calmly. That was one thing she was good at. She looked at her leader again and smelled him over. The she cat lifted her head and gave a look of confusion but still waited to see what the medicine cat would say.

These wounds could possibly be fatal. Have you lost any lives? Do you feel like you're going to lose a life? She continued pasting the chewed up horsetail onto the large wounds after using the leaves to clean them. Cobwebs! I need cobwebs! Birdsong turned to the recently appeared Angelwing. No, he didn't. Go and get cobwebs! Now! Birdsong then looked at her leader. Who did this? We need to know! The only reason Birdsong ever acted like it was serious was the possibility that Sharpstar could lose a life. He had already lost two; it would be nice to stop there for a while. As she pasted and cleaned at a rapid pace, her mind was in a furious overload, trying to concentrate on so many things at once. Okay, she thought, trying to calm herself, I’m just going to harm Sharpstar by not focusing when he needs me to focus most. I need to settle down! these dry bones cry for you |

Immediately, his deputy ran into the camp. As if sensing the news. He was proud that she was able to do this. It was because of calmness that he picked her. Well that and the fact she was kind hearted and would most likely act in the way of honor. The medicine cat seemed to have ignored all his comments and was getting to work. He looked away form the crowd and glared at the medicine cat. Didn't he tell her to stop? The she-cat started to practically talk to him about what he lost and is he feeling as if he was about to lose another one. Oddly enough his concern was so focused on the horrid news he didn't bother to think about his own health. Now that he did. It hurt.. A lot. Though he once again focused on the issue before hand and shrugged the medicine cat off.
When the medicine cat gave the deputy the order to get cobwebs and instantly said no. Before either could question he continued. "No.. This is not the time. Listen I need both of you to be calm. I'll tell everything back at my den. Till then I need to tell the clan this very important news."
Before either could question he addressed the clan. "Today something happened. Yes, I was attacked. However not be any clanner. This was a common speedful rogue. Very talented. However, she is not the problem. Deeper in our lands the forest is destroyed. There was a deep thick mist. There was no life. Not even bird song." he paused letting this sink in. Immediately the clan reacted in rage. The sound made him seemingly staggered. It was as if two opposite sides suddenly came down form shock to sign of starclan.[/blockquote]

Angelwing stopped i her tracks and was happy to see that her leader was talking. She turned around and didn't get the cobweb like the medicine cat ordered her to. She stepped closer to her leader and gave a sigh of relief hearing that he was not going to be losing another life. Important news? What important news? Before she could think about what the news could be she heard her leader tell her what it was going to be in a few words.
Angelwing didn't take her eyes off of her leader and hearing Sharpstar to tell her to stay calm that was second nature to her. She wasn't freaking out but yet trying to figure out what her leader was trying to say. "Another cat?" she whispered and narrowed her eyes. Was this rogue a threat to the clan? She kept that in the back of her mind and kept on listening. When her leader was done talking she mewed, "I'll take a patrol and check it out Sharpstar. Better be safe then sorry. I would like to see if this..mist will be heading our way and is a threat to us along with the rogue you have ran into." Her bright blue eyes were filled with determination and promise. If anything was going to threaten her home she wanted nothing more then to see what it was and to stop it.

She was so astonished and infuriated about what she heard from her leader. Not only did a cocky, petulant rogue dare to bring down their leader, but part of their territory was destroyed! It must be a sign, she thought. My first sign! Soemthing big must be happening. I can feel it! Birdsong was so excited at the prospect of translating her first omen that she had to bite her tongue to keep herself from shouting, StarClan is real! She probably would have gotten some weird looks for that, but she didn't care about what the NonBelievers thoguht.
Birdsong was slightly irritated that Angelwing was much more eager to go on a patrol than fetch her cobwebs. Sharpstar needed those cobwebs to patch up his wounds! "If you're going anywhere," Birdsong ordered in a threatening tone, "you will bring me cobwebs." Birdsong bore down on the pretty she-cat with her aqua eyes, letting her know that she had no business avoiding the orders of a Medicine cat. these dry bones cry for you |

Looking at the medicine cat she gave no rude look or no harsh tone when she replied, "Of course I'll get you some cobweb Birdsong, I understand that our leader needs it, but would it be okay for you to calm down and relax for a bit? I promise you will get them, here how about I get them first then I head out on patrol, does that sound okay to you Birdsong?" She then let her eyes go from her medicine cat and then to her leader and waited for his answer. She was eager to go out onto the patrol but she knew that the medicine cat orders came first. Angelwing still wanted to go and let the tip of her fluffy tail twitch back and foreth.

Ashflower had been asleep in the nursery with her kits when something woke her up. Foam green eyes still filled with sleep looked around. Something was wrong and Ashflower could feel it. Now wide awake, she looked at her kits who were still asleep. Ashflower touched them with her tail and they woke. That's when she heared Sharpstar call out for a Clan meeting. Ashflower and her kits wandered out of the nursery and saw that almost everyone was out of there dens. She waited patiently while Sharpstar waited for everyone to be there. Ashflower saw the hole thing with Birdsong and Angelwing. After a little bit, Sharpstar finally gentle pushed Birdsong away and gave his news. A rogue that could beat there leader and a strang mist. Ashflower was fearful for her kit and herself. She didn't want to leave her kits all alone with no one to protect them. She looked up at Sharpstar "What dose this all mean, Sharpstar...........are rogues going to attack our camp or form a clan of their own" she called out calmly. Her kits stayed close to her and watched their leader. Ashflower didn't know how she felt about ThunderClan any after losing her brother, mother and father. She even lost her mate Pinefur to a fox and was never able to forgive the beast that took him away from her. Her kits were silent for once and knew this were improtent.

Dawnchaser snarled from within the shadows. It was time she set things straight. It didn't matter what her clanmates thought of her for betraying her own father. He was weak, adn she was doing what was right for the clan. THis so called king must be dethroned, even if she was the princess. His aunt would surely join her in her movement. Secretflight had never hid her contempt of Sharpstar. Because of his beliefs in a failing faith, ThunderClan was fading. THe forest was being destroyed, bit by bit. Rogues were slaughtering clanners. Even through all of this pain and suffering, her father turned to StarClan. A bunch of dead cats weren't going to do anything.
She lumbered out of the shadows. This was for ThunderClan. It didn't matter if her father thought she was traitorous. Her clan would thank her in the long haul. They needed to take action, not stare aimlessly at the sky. Cats of ThunderClan! Hear me now as I speak out against my leader and my father. We will not survive by leaning on StarClan. We need to realize that once a cat dies, it's gone. You will never see them again. They are figments of our imagination; a part of us yearning to see our loved ones again. They will never come back, but if we stand strong, we will be remembered after we die as the cats who saved their clan, even when their leader couldn't. She hissed the last word as she faced her father. It's time to end his reign, and bring about a new era of leaders. She snarled at Sharpstar, daring him to rile his clan to his defense. It won't work. I have something more powerful than StarClan on my side. You can't beat me.
296 WORDS , ThunderClan , Dawnchaser's gonna start a riot. Feel free to join in. |

Sharpstar did his best to ignore the freaking out medicine cat. He looked toward his deputy and went to answer her. "Yes you-" he stopped short. Before he could finish his daughter was speaking out and against him? He watched his heart suddenly failing, as his own kin spoke out loud and against him and Starclan. What was with her? She spoke of how cat weren't meant to come back alive.. How the nine lives was never meant to be. He could not make sense any of it. All he could do was pull all his wits around him and glare at the she-cat. She was obviously dishonoring her own kin, but why? He never knew one of his own kin to disbelief in Starclan. " What is this all about. Starclan will always be there. They aren't a figment of our imaginations. Dawnchaser step down. This is not at all your place or right."
he lashed out his tail. He could not believe this. What was up with his own daughter? When a thought struck him... He thought of his past love. He suddenly felt himself cripple. He still loved the she-cat that died in her own Mother's claws. "Rogue do not make clans. They are not organized or wise enough. This rogue was alone and on her own. She was simply in the wrong territory. This white rogue is not one who easily obeys laws or orders. Much less works with another. " he felt himself continuing. His mind still crumpling between the faint of his own mate and the strength of his past love. He still wished the she-cat lived today. His mind flashed back to her mother.. She had led a group of rogues to attack Thunderclan. The idea would not be so easily dropped. There was plenty of evidence of rogues gathering into groups and attacking. Clan though are another thing.[/blockquote]

Wildpelt's cream tabby fur brislted as Sharpstar explain the forest was dying somewhere out there, and that StarClan has began to give up on them. No! StarClan will never give up on us!, he wanted to shout, but kept his mouth shut just in case he got a bad recation from his clanmates. He has saw his mother once in StarClan. She had visit him the night just before his warrior cermory, to tell how proud she was of him. He hissed in anger when Dawnchaser spoke up, saying StarClan was gone, and that Sharpstar was a horrible leader. With that, the cream tabby tom jumped to his paws. "How dare you Dawnchaser!! Sharpstar is one of the best leaders ThunderClan ever had, one of the best leaders to gain nine lives from StarClan! StarClan is more than just made of dead cats, even made of our passed family, our friends!!" Wildpelt snarled at the his leader's daughter, unsheatching his claws. "My partents are in StarClan, and I know they're watching over me, even if others don't believe me. You're a true disgrace to everyone here in all of the clans if you dare say something so vile about our beliefs since the clans started, a true coward!!!" Wildpelt's green eyes flashed with truth as he glared at Dawnchaser, his fur brislting.

Dawnchaser snarled viciously at the vermin who'd just appeared and stood up for her mangy fox-heart of a father. How dare he waltz on in and reprimand me like that. I'll show him. The ginger van she-cat drew her lips in the form of a hiss as she truged forward towards Wildpelt. " Why should we listen to you, mangy fur-ball? As far as we know, you've gone insane with grief over your parents. What cat in their right mind would listen to you? " Dawnchaser smirked at the tom's green eyes as she heard a few murmurs of agreement in the crowd of cats that had gathered behind her. She could practically feel that mysterious tom's prescence beating down on her from above, the cat that had told her everything. Her tail lashed in pure anger as she glimpsed at her astonished father. She shoudl've known he wouldn't have seen it coming. He'd thought she was an innocent little she-cat, loving and caring like her mother. The kind of cat that was leas likely to betray him. But he was wrong. So wrong. He'd plagued this clan for too long already. Dawnchaser turned to face the sea of felines, her tail lashing and her head held high in authority. " Cats of ThunderClan! It is time we dethroned this tyrant and erase his name from our history. It is time to leave the past behind, and it is time that I will no longer be known as Sharpstar's daughter. I am Dawnchaser, shameless daughter of no exile. Back me now as we leave these scoundrels behind, outcasts! " She growled lowly as she glanced at Angelwing and Sharpstar. " There will be a new line of succession! Who will stand up to fight the change? " The russet van scanned the crowd through narrowed eyes, awaiting a cat to come forth and proclaim his place as ThunderClan's new leader.
320 WORDS , ThunderClan , Mwahaha she's gonna make Wildpelt's life miserable. Who'll step up to be TC's next leader? Anyone, anyone? |

Wildpelt's jaw dropped when Dawnchaser dared said that it was time for Sharpstar to be gone, and anyother StarClan believes; others like him. "Dawnchaser!!" he yowled, his green eyes flashing with anger, and rage. "I was only a moon old when my partents left for StarClan, I barley rememeber them at all! But I do know....I know StarClan is real!!!!" he shouted the last part of his scentene, turning to the cats that hadn't gone behind Dawnchaser; therefore turning his back facing her. "Cats of ThunderClan, you know every well that Sharpstar is no tyannt. Tyannts are cruel, blood-thirsty demons, like Tigerstar, and Brokenstar!! And today, the only tyannt I see here standing, is Dawnchaser!! I've seen Veixenleaf, my mother, in StarClan once." the warrior had never revealed this setrect before so it was a shock to himself that he said out loud. "Dawnchaser just wants to rule ThunderClan for herself, by first crushing out beliefs in the warriors in the stars that never left us!! She is nothing but a tyannt wanting to bring ThunderClan to its end!!!" Wildpelt showed no fear in his voice, only bravely as he looked at the small crowd od cats. ((His back is facing Dawnchaser, so you know what that means right?))
