Fallenstar paced the lake's sandy shores alone, contemplating his next move. WindClan had been very quiet for a while --- maybe a little too quiet. Fallenstar was not one to launch and all out war on another clan, but something was up. He could just feel it. It wasn't the feeling he got when a battle was about to begin or when his clan was reaped with sickness; it was a feeling he hadn't felt in a while. Anticipation. To him, ruling a clan is like playing chess. It requires strategy, patience, intrigue, and a belief in what you were doing. Having doubts about your acions or yourself was the worst move you could ever make. It was like leavign the white king wide open, surrounded by a legion of black pawns, bishops, and knights.
Fallenstar stopped for a minute, staring back at the pawprints he had just made, tail twitching. He had to keep patrolling. The lakeside was technically RiverClan's, since the other clans weren't allowed to fish in the lake. He had just passed the horse place when he came upon WindClan territory. Fallenstar paused, wondering what was happening in the flat, arid moors of WindClan. He could only imagine what they were doing right now.

Windclan was doing well in the circumstances that were up, but that hadn't stopped Duststar at all. The clan was quiet, only because much had gone on since he had become leader and wanted to take everything in before fully going on with what was to come. At this point, anyways, the dusty brown tom was just heading towards the water, letting his mind clear a little of what was all going about. This wasn't what he had fully expected from the who deal, but he knew that he was going to be able to do it.
Duststar had been making his ways down to the lake by this time, into his own thoughts without realizing exactly what he was doing. It wasn't that much, but he couldn't blame it all on himself, being where he was at with it all. He didn't even realize that he was heading towards the lake till he hit into something, stepping back a little and shaking his head. With this, Duststar couldn't deal with it too badly, though it would have been better if he had been looking.
"I'm sorry. Wasn't paying attention."
Duststar looked up then, soon sitting a little prouder than he was. In front of him was one of the other leaders, probably Fallenstar as the highest guess. He didn't think he would have top worry about what would happen, just as long as he could keep his composure on what he did.

Fallenstar grimaced as he watched WindClan's head honcho, the big man himself, Mr. Fat Cat, Dustar, walk over the moor. He raised his head and tail in disgust, sneering at the despicable enemy of his. He didn't realize until the last second that the blubbering fool was about to walk into him. With a thump, Fallenstar pushed him away, hissing in anger. "You fool!" Fallenstar yowled, infuriated by his equal's clumsiness. "Would you mind watching where you are going? I didn't expect such incompetence from my fellow leader!" Fallenstar sneered, almost laughing at his counterpart. He didn't expect anything more than a few harsh words and he'd be on his way once again. He definitely wouldn't expect a full blown fight. At most, he would see to a few scratches, and that would be that. No lost lives, no lingering scars (emotionally or physically), no nothing. If anybody was going to get a beating it would be Duststar. That sneaky little kit, Fallenstar thought menacingly, smiling evilly as he mused over his dislikes, I'll get him one day. One day he'll be crawling up to me begging me, "Please, please, spare WindClan. Take me if you want, just leave my clan alone!" And I would, only after he deeded a portion of his territory to RiverClan. We will rise to overtake them in the end, no matter how nimble and quick they are! Fallenstar laughed evilly in his head, thinking of all the possiblities he would choose from while he ruled the entire lake.
