The warm sun beat down her light coat and warmed her up faster then a rabbit hopping. She carried a vole in her jaw and she was able to tell that she was not far from her home at all. The blood from the vole dripped onto the ground as she was walking and she couldn't help but hear her stomach growling.
She finally padded into the camp and stopped and looked around. It was quiet as ever. She looked to the leaders den and tried to see if she could see her leader in the den but it was way to dark in there. She let her light blue eyes gaze around the camp again for a sign of life but everything was still. She remembered about the vole in her mouth and padded over and set it on the the fresh kill pile.
She gave a yawn and then a shake of her fur. She got up early for this and was now trying to decide if she should go out again to get more food for the clan. Prey was very plentiful and she had no trouble with gathering food for her clan. She didn't have an apprentice yet, seeing she was named deputy not to long ago. Only time would tell if she would get an apprentice or not.
Angelwing gave a lick of her paw and swiped it over her ear a few times then set it on the ground. Border patrol? No, she did that this morning. Does Sharpstar need help with anything? Why do I worry so much! she thought. I know I'm deputy now but I just want to make sure that everyone is okay and the clan is doing well. She bit her lip and gave one last look around the camp and got up and turned around in a circle and decided to take a break for a bit and relax. She was able to see who would be coming into the camp and who would leave and Angelwing decided to stay where she was a take a load off for a bit.
