Juniperfeather watched her clan sleep. She often had troubles sleeping. Mostly because she took naps during odd parts of the day, but that was besides the point. She was considering leaving, to go fetch more herbs. It was easier to collect catmint when the twolegs were asleep. But, ever since her run-in with her sister at a twoleg garden, she was hesitant to go alone.
Perking up as she watched a clanmate awaken, she watched him poke at the fresh kill pile. She thought hard about his name, finally remembering it. He was the outcast of the group. The clan hadn't been very trusting of him. Eying him, she wondered what he was doing awake. As he started to leave, she bounced up from her position. He could come with to get catmint!
Quietly, a voice in her head told her that he probably had much better things to do than to accompany her. Unsure, she padded slowly out to the direction that he was headed for. Trailing after him listlessly, she didn't want to seem off, and began to examine plants that looked as if they might be somewhat medicinal. She realized how suspicious this looked, but she was too afraid to bother him if he was busy.

Watch me stalk! See me think! Hear me ROAR!
Fogdancer was sitting out in the moonlight of the Pine Forest, taking it all in. She loved just to let it all out into the midst of the night. Fogdancer lifted her head up to the sky, letting her face bathe in the moonlight. She could just sit here forever, if night would never end. Suddenly, she heard the crack of a twig. She whipped her head around, setting her fierce amber gaze upon his dark green eyes. As his deputy, Fogdancer had to be a rolemodel for Lightwhisper, no matter how suspicious he was. Holding her head up high, she spoke with authority and sincerity. Good evening, Lightwhisper. What do you think you're doing out here so late at night? Don't even bother asking me the same question; it'll only waste your breath. She stood up from her seated position, stretching in the black midnight air. You seem restless. Tell me what's up. Your deputy will understand. Fogdancer's tail took up her name, waving ever so nimbly in the darkness. Her claws dug into the wet soil beneath her, her ears scanning the forest like radar dishes, her eyes searching in the darkness behind him in the conifers. It was almost like paranoia, except for the fact that she was completely calm. Even as Fogdancer noticed Juniperfeather's eyes peeking out of the darkness, she was free fro anxiety. She was on home turf.

Juniperfeather sat silently as possible. She had crawled into some underbrush when she heard her deputy's voice. She cursed her bright green eyes when she realized that they were probably glowing like the firebugs that lit up the sky on warm greenleaf nights. She felt guilty for listening in on this conversation, but she couldn't find a way out. If she went in the opposite direction, more attention would be called to her presence.
Closing her eyes, she huddled down into a little ball and tried to sleep, but couldn't quite block out the voices that were echoing through the small patch of forest they all inhabited at the moment. Her ears picked up when Lightwhisper mentioned that he could never feel like the others. She often felt the same, worthless. Which is why she became a medicine cat. When it came to hunting and fighting, she was just too shy.
Juniperfeather gave a soft noise of surprise when she heard that his sister was a Windclan cat. She suddenly felt bad for him. She didn't have any other siblings in different clans, but she could imagine how he felt. She resolved to be much nicer to him from now on. Well, once she got out of this awful position. The leaves and twigs beneath her were poking her pelt in the most horrid way. She was close to just taking off as fast as she could in the opposite direction. Either that, or hopping a twoleg fence and hiding for a bit. Considering this, she kept her eyes shut, just in case one of them was looking in her direction.

Watch me stalk! Read my thoughts! Hear me ROAR!
Fogdancer nodded every now and then as she listened intently to the young warrior's problems. It wasn't like she wanted to; her warriors' wellbeing and mental stability. They were the life force of ShadowClan. Oooh, nightmares. Fogdancer shivered for effect. You gotta hate 'em! Fogdancer's voice turned serious. It's fine, Lightwhisper. My father, before he sired me, belonged to RiverClan. However, even when his clanmates despised him, calling him a half-clanner or fishface, he proved himself to ShadowClan by leading the war patrol against his birth clan, and in the end, he won my mother over. Even I was given a bit of a hard time, but I proved all of them haters wrong when I became deputy. It's possible to become a sensation, Lightwhisper, no matter your background. Fogdancer smiled, hoping she had somewhat lifted his spirits. About your sister, do you have any emotions towards her? Like, good ones, or do you despise her?

Flutterpaw~
Flutterpaw awoke to the wind. She looked around the medicine cat den, as she was sleeping in there. The last thing she saw was Juniperfeather's tail dissappearing in the forest. Young and curious, Flutterpaw rose. She quickly padded silently after her mentor. At last her mentor to sit in some bushes. Flutterpaw didn't want to frighten her mentor so she quietly crept up beside the beautiful she-cat. "Juniperfeather, what on earth are you doing?", Flutterpaw whispered, hoping she didn't scare the medicine cat.
