Dull. Boring. No excitement.
These three words ran through her mind as the she-cat gazed across the camp through half-opened eyes. Was this how life was going to be for the rest of her days? If it was, she wasn't sure that she wanted to be here. There had to be a better way to spend her days as a warrior instead of the usual routine-hunt, train, borders patrols, and then... sleep. But every warrior has at least some free-time, and her's was seeming terribly boring. Then again, so did most. She spent most of her time alone-any breaks were no acception to hr personal rule. So the she-cat sat in the shade of a nearby tree, watching her clanmates as they went on with their day to day lives.
Hailstorm had never been to optimistic-she was just the opposite. And being social? She showed respect toward her clanmates, sure, but didn't engauge into a conversation often. Not that many people wanted to be around her, reguardless. Her small size, lack of physical strength, and her cold personality seemed to keep others away. Not that it bothered her much, though. Getting to close to another feline like herself was most likely what she feared most in the world. And though she did speak to others occationally, though only when spoken to, she distanced herself from others as much as she possibly could. Others were probably used to things being that way by now, she guessed, as few bothered her. But someone always seemed to show up, hoping for a buddy-buddy chat that she couldn't provide. It was just the way they were.
"Not that I would care," the she-cat muttered, shifting uncomfortably in the blazing, green-leaf heat. "Let the population be mouse brained. As long as they leave me out of it, I'm perfectly fine with that." It was all possible that she did enjoy the few conversations she was in a little, somewhere deep down, but had that been true, no one would have noticed. Not even she, herself, would have noticed as it would likely be buried deep, deep down. Far beyond her reach. All anyone could see was an almost expressionless face that didn't change very often.
'Why must it be so warm?' Hailstorm growled silently. 'It's days like these were you can't help but miss the cold days of leaf-bare. But I suppose I'll be complaining like this when leaf-bare does come around... It always seems to happen.' The white she-cat meowed, "Let's just hope this day doesn't get to dull to handle. If I must sit here in the heat like a worthless kittypet, I'm afraid I'll go mad. It can't be to long before I can go on another patrol, can it...?"
((I know that this table is a little off. Her eye color is blue and amber, not just blue, and her name is Hailstorm not Hailpaw, but it was the closest thing I had at the time. If it's that bad, I won't use it again, but, if not, I think I'll just go with this... And this post is so short! D:< Only 454 words? That's pathetic! Aw well. I honestly have no idea what to add to this, so it'll have to do for now.))

//You don't have to use a posting table and personally I think it is fine.// Nutsy was sitting in the yard waiting for the most prettiest she-cat ever to step outside. The sliding door slid open and allowed that very she-cat out. Nutsy awed by her beauty barely heard her talk. Drool just ran down his chin and onto her foot. When she suddenly headed toward the large hole in the gate Nutsy found it hard to have quick reaction and follow her easily. They ended up in Cookie's yard. To whome Ginger was looking for. Nutsy heard Ginger give a large complaint about Cookie betraying her to some sort of thing. Which what she was talking about Nutsy wasn't to sure. He just knew this new cat came into town and had an awesome pink pelt.
His love suddenly started heading a direction closer to the forest. Not sure what else to do Ntusy followed.. Everything distracted him. He looked left and right and caught the scent of something new. A pretty large black bird caught his attention he was awed by how large it was. The pretty shadow became larger and larger. Until instinct kicked in to tell him to duck and run. That of which he did in a totally direction from Ginger and where she was headed. The bird went to strike again. Nutsy had no idea what creature this was.. It just seemingly scare the crap out of him running farther and farther. Eventually the bird decided on a new prey.. It flew off leaving Nutsy lost and well not sure where to go. His memory failed to have him remember which location was home.
He started heading toward the direction he was running and noticed that there was lots of Rivers and nice smelling things. He drew closer and crossed the river to see a she-cat white all by herself. She looked lonely and smelled odd. He instantly headed for her not sure where else to go. He stopped right in front of her not noticing any kind of look she gave him. ""Hellhellhello!" he studdered unable to form one hundred percent talking abilities with his jaw unnaturally crooked and unable to ever heal correct again. This is also a very reason he drools all over the place.
This tom will smell nasty and dirty. He is unable to clean himself as properly as a normal cat. Not only that but his memory forgets that he should do these normal things like a normal cat. His fur is black and white with a spiky look to it. Not only that but his eyes looked completely sealed making it kind of hard to see far away. Then finally he has teeth missing from his nofurs beating him up long ago. He was not one of those pretty hot toms that was sure.

Reedfang padded into the RiverClan camp with a few mice hanging out of his mouth. He padded nonchalantly over to the fresh-kill pile and smelled something ... weird. He looked around then finally spotted the maniacally appearing tom who was speaking to someone. He suddenly realized that someone was Hailstorm. Reedfang growled and padded over to him. He smelled like two-legs. He instinctively shivered. A kittypet. Hailstorm was trying to make him jealous with a kittypet. She must be as insane as the cat standing next to him He padded up to the tom and growled into his face. What do you think you're doing here, kittypet? He spat the word out as if its foul taste would burn a hole through his tongue if he let it sit there.

[OOC: Hay Leap, a question for you? Since Lightswallow is mates with Hailstorm’s old mate, maybe they could be, like, enemies? Just a thought… I can rewrite this post if I have to. Also, it‘s very, very short. Sorry about that also~]
The deputy emerged from her den yawning. It had been forever since she had gotten to take a nap! Blinking her pretty blue eyes and trying to adjust them to the sunlight, she was immediately on the alert. Something smelled out of place.. Something… Funny. Surprised, she felt herself snarl. Near the front of the camp there were three cats; her enemy, her mate, and a funny-looking tom. Quickly walking forward, she stepped into the space between Reedfang and Hailstorm and stared at the tom. His jaw was hanging, he had squinted eyes, and there was drool running out of his mouth. Although she tried not to, Lightswallow cringed. Shaking her pelt a little, she spoke clearly, “Hello stranger. What are you doing in RiverClan?” Obviously this cat provided no harm, but there could very well be others with him. She had to protect her Clan at all costs…even from icky-looking outsiders that looked too dumb to be anything but a beetle.

((Yeah, I know we don't have to use 'em. But they're fancyfull and make your posts prettier. XD And yes, Cookie, I can imagine them being arch-enemies or something.))
Before she heard that one stuttered word, Hailstorm felt an odd, to to pleasent smell collapse over her, with an strange tint of twolegs to it. 'Is that a... cat? Don't some people know how to wash themselves?' she growled in silence, turning to where the scent was coming from. It was then that she spotted who it was-a white and black tom, slobber dripping from his mussle. His eyes were shut-or at least, it looked that way. He definately smelled of twolegs... So this newcomer was a kittypet, no? She didn't think that twolegs would take care of cats like this one. Or, at least, treat them badly. Unless he'd been run over by a monster-twice-and lived, it was unlikely that he had done this to himself. 'Abusive twolegs? And I thought they were bad already...'
"He-he-hello!" the tom managed to say, his words stuttered unimaginably. For a heartbeat, the white she-cat felt sorry for this new tom. But the moment did not last, and she lowered herself into an attacking position. "Who are you," she demanded, "And what are you doing here? This is RiverClan territory, not some kittypet playground! I suggest you leave before I have to resort to attacking, and we wouldn't like that very much, now would we?" She wanted to claw at the intruder's throat for doing something as foolish as trespassing on RiverClan land, but the unnatural deformities of this cat made her somewhat pity him. But if he didn't leave upon warning, then she would attack at will.
Before she could utter another word, another scent hit her nose-one she knew all to well. "Hello, Reedfang," she growled with cold politeness. "I didn't realise you'd be here. Did you bring that little she-cat of yours? She's obviously so important to you." The black tom echoed her words, his tone of voice just as harsh as her own. 'At least you're loyal to your clan. I can't say the same for me...' She had to resist the urge to utter those words aloud, but instead glared daggers at her former mate.
She had just about thought the moment couldn't get any worse-there was an outsider who honestly didn't look to bright drooling on clean land, and now Reedfang was there. All they needed was the RiverClan deputy there and her day was officially over. No more sitting around in camp for her. So when a third smell was sent up her nostrals, the white warrior was not surprised.
"Ah, if it isn't Lightswallow. Lovely seeing you here. How was your day? Awful, I hope." She looked from the she-cat to Reedfang, and couldn't help but let out a small, cold laugh. "Isn't this just amazing? Only a few more cats and we can throw a traitor party!" Her amber and blue gaze raked over the two before focusing back on the mostly white kittypet. "The offer still stands-leave now, or have your eyes clawed out."

Nutsy didn't even notice the hostility that the she-cat spoke to him in. He heard all her words but very few got processed. Which usually happens.. He usually twists them in his head to hear what makes his life happy and enjoyable. He went to reply the she-cat's instant questioning when these two other cats arrived.
Nutsy felt awed by the cats.. They all had stance and beauty. He just stood there and drooled taking in their exoticness. If they were said to be Gods he would not have doubted. The sun just hit them perfectly. "Ar-Are you-you Gou-Gods?"
He asked. Soon scratching his pelt were tiny fleas suddenly started biting. The drool that was left on his chin slung off. Before the cats could answer he walked up to them. Taking in their different colors. Black... Blue... Ginger.. Brown.. each one had the most intoxicating scent. That made him drool even more then usual. The smell of fish. He hadn't had any fish sense he could remember. He knew there deep in his head was that scent. He tried to place it but there seemed to be some sort of blockade. He tried to figure this blockade but came up blank. He whipped the drool that was forming and place his paw back on the ground. He got close to the two Riverclan cats that reminded him of Gods.. Or what he thought of Gods. Their fur seemed to shine brightly enough.. He touched the she-cat with pretty soft kind eyes. He liked her kindness. She must be the god of kindness and charity. He liked her very much. "You-your purddy....." He said still getting as close as possible staring at her taking in her kindness. He wondered if she rescued kittens on the basis. The fleas suddenly started biting and he toke a step back. His mind fought the urge to scratch the fleas. He just wanted to see what this pretty she-cat can do. He wanted her to bring things abck to life and bless him. "Go-Go-God-Goddededededess. Coucoucoucou could you he-help me?"[/blockquote]

Reedfang hissed at Hailstorm. Watch your tongue. Hasn't it gotten you into enough trouble already? He spat at her. She was always acting like it was his fault that they split up. He knew the truth however; her big mouth and crazy imagination were the ones at fault. Hey Lightswallow. He held back a purr as he saw his mate. She was loyal. She wasn't crazy enough to accuse him of cheating on her. She wasn't a big mouth. That's what he liked about RiverClan's deputy.
//Why do I keep imagining Reedfang with a John Travolta voice?//

The long furred, white she-cat turned her attention away from the strange looking cat that was in their presence. Not that he'd replied to her words at all. It was either he hadn't heard her, or his mind was just as messed up as his appearance. But her blue and amber gaze once again drifted the the black tom and a fire of utter hatred lit within their two colored depths. "Watch your tongue," he spat, letting out a hiss. "Hasn't it gotten you into enough trouble already?"
Hailstorm echoed his hiss, letting the fur along her spin begin to rise. How dare he acuse her of something like that? She was loyal to her clan. In fact, almost all of her time was devoted to RiverClan. The only times she had ever gotten into trouble was when her denmates blamed her for things she hadn't done. If he went on like that, she might just get in trouble once again - this time, for clawing his face off. But her claws remained unsheathed and her fur began to lay flat. 'He just wants a reaction, Hailstorm,' she told herself. 'Don't give him one.'
She snorted with a smirk, "I'm sorry, are you refering to me? I keep my mouth closed for the most part, and open it when it need be. That is, unlike a certain tom I know." She flicked her tail towards him, just in case he didn't get the words that were coming out of her mouth. 'Not that I'd be surprised. Nothing seems to get through an arrogent tom's thick skull.' She continued, "Oh, I'm sorry. Am I going to fast for you? Maybe I should dumb it down a bit so you can take in all of this. Hm... Let's make it simple so you can understand. I don't like you."
"Hey, Lightswallow," he meowed as the deputy approached. Anger still defined her expression when she looked at the gingery colored female. Perhaps they could've been friends had Reedfang not gone and messed everything up. But it was to late now - all the warrior felt towards her superior now was hatred, and maybe a bit of jealousy. She was prettier then Hailstorm, and she had the position that some cats dreamed of having. And, worst of all, she had the love of her life. How could she compare to all of that? All she was was a bitter warrior whom nobody cared for. She felt a twitch of regret for being so cruel to Lightswallow, but it only lasted a heartbeat. Sure, the white feline should show her some respect, even moreso because she held a higher position, but she and her mate and lied and cheated her of her happiness. They didn't deserve her respect.
"'Hey, Lightswallow.'" she mimicked, unsure of what else to hiss at the two Riverclanners. "How cute you two are... Too bad, though, that you'll have to spend the rest of your days with a lieing, cheating fool, Lightswallow."
((So. Short. But I don't know what else to write...))
