Mudpaw walked along the many rocks, hoping to spot a mouse or even a rabbit. He sighed, and then cursed at himself as he noticed a frightened mouse sprint out from underneath a nearby rock. He crouched down and peered over a small boulder to his right. He spotted a small, non-poisonous snake wriggling out from underneath a large thorn bush. He padded slowly behind it then paused to crouch down. He launched himself above the snake and bit down hard on the back of its head, snapping its neck. Mudpaw watched it writhe in pain before it finally died. He smiled in contentment and dug a small hoel to place it in.
