Appearance Description:
Wishpaw is graceful and petite. She long legs, a long tail, and long ears. Everything about her says, “lean”, but she doesn’t look like stretched-out taffy. Instead, she keeps the look of a playful kitten. Her paws are the right size for her legs, but her ears a bit larger than normal. This just appears to make her a bit cuter. Her tail may be long, but it’s not thin. It’s thick with extra fur; however, it could never be compared to a squirrel’s tail. It’s not fluffy enough. Wishpaw has pure white fur; it’s not cream. White. Like, cloud white. It’s soft to the touch and just long enough to keep her warm in winter, but short enough to keep her cool in summer. It is thicker around her neck and flanks, but thin on her ears. Her ears are velvety soft. She doesn’t have a mark of any color other than her blue eyes, pink nose, and pink tips of ears. Even her paw pads are pink, but everything else- including her claw- are white. Sugar white. Wishpaw’s eyes are to die for. Literally. When a tom stares into them, she has them in her trap. They turn into putty and want to do everything to please her. The toms are amazed, the she-cats are jealous. But Wishpaw never seems to notice them. Her eyes are silk blue, like the finest blue fabric that you could lay eyes on. They seem to be filled with her soul; they’re deep. The actual color could be compared to the ocean on a sunny day. A crystal clear blue ocean with tiny dark blue ripples in it. Wishpaw has white claws to match her pelt color. Her pads are baby pink, as are the insides of her ears. Her nose is a velvet salmon. She has delicate white whiskers that are softer than most. The she-cat has dark black lining around her eyes. Her tongue is a soft pink color, but raspy like most cats. She has pointy, pearly white teeth.Personality Description:
Wishpaw is easily persuaded. She doesn’t hold to her point very often; instead, she’s always open to hearing new ideas. Her mind is ready for whatever plans others have, and it isn’t hard to get her to do what you want. If you want something, basically all you have to do is ask. Sometimes a little wink works, too. Wishpaw is very good at remembering the names of herbs and knows exactly how to use them. She is skilled at memorizing their uses, but it’s a bit hard for her to actually use them on a cat. She works at it, however. She’s not too good at fighting of course, but she tries at that, too. She wants to be the best at what she does. The she-cat never notices the fact that Stonepaw knows as much as she does about herbs- all she knows is that she wants to know a bit more than him. In her head it’s not like a rivalry, it’s more of a friendly challenge. Wishpaw knows that it is against the warrior code, but she wants to have a mate. Even though she knows that it is wrong, she still finds herself constantly flirting with other toms. A wink here and there makes them wobbly at the knees, and if she purrs a bit, they turn into butter in her paws. Although she has yet to figure it out, she can easily get others to do what she wants if she flirts. It makes the toms go wild. ;D One thing Wishpaw isn’t is shy. She’s the opposite; the kind of perky, happy, get-what-you-want girl. She is always ready to talk to others, and she isn’t afraid to stand up for something she cares about.History:
Although she is a medicine cat, she has a tad bit of rebellion in her. Wishpaw is known to bend the rules to her liking, and if she is caught doing it, she’ll easily point out that she was just inside the boundaries of the warrior code. It angers older cats, but she takes pride in the fact that they cannot bust her for it.
When she was born, her parents from the start knew she was something special. She was beautiful; pure white with deep blue eyes that held your gaze. Her sister was pretty, but a minor birth defect made it so that she didn’t hold a card to her younger sister. Wishkit and Sugarkit hadn’t known each other long when a bought of sickness swept through the camp. It had been only a couple of weeks since they were born, so they were kept inside the nursery strictly. They were also kept apart so if one got sick the other wouldn’t catch it. None of the two kits caught it, but Sugarkit made a mistake with a horrid result. Sick of being cooped up in the nursery, she snuck out in the dead of night. Up in the sky a great bird flew. The kitten never had time to look up before it was swooping down, catching her in its great claws. When everyone woke the next morning to find Sugarkit gone, they all looked to Wishkit. Wishkit had no idea of what had happened to her sister. She refused to take blame for it. When they looked into her eyes, they all believed her instantly. Wishkit hadn’t known her sister for long, so the ache didn’t lay in her heart as long as it did in her mother’s. Instead, she spent her time with Stonekit. He was her best friend, and equal to her in every way.Parents:
When she was almost ready to become an apprentice, she asked to see what it was like. Wishkit didn’t like it in the least. She didn’t like having to harm another, and hunting felt like a waste of time to her. The leader spoke to the medicine cat about her. They agreed together that Wishkit should look into being a medicine cat apprentice. When they suggested it, she was mildly curious. Stonekit seemed to want to be one, too. She shrugged off the feeling, and something tiny in her told her that she would do a great job at it. So she made her decision.
Wishpaw became a medicine cat apprentice, and she was busy from the start with learning all of the herbs. It was hard work, but things began to pay off. She still felt like her relationship was quite strong with Stonepaw; she told him everything that went on and loved hanging out with him.
