ROSEBLOSSOM
I fight with words, not claws
I fight with words, not claws
Tiny, apprentice like paws padded into the fog, amber eyes narrowed. She looked around, seeing if StarClan had a special message for her. "Who's there?" She hissed, wondering who brought her to this place. It looked like camp, although it was deserted, with only herself and the fog. Roseblossom was facing the Leader's Den, and the fog suddenly lifted, making a pathway to go into the den. Roseblossom slowly stalked into the den, her paws tingling. She walked around the den, looking for some sign, when a cat stepped out of the shadows, but before Roseblossom could identify the cat, a sharp paw prodded her side and she woke up, hissing.
"Do you mind?! If you keep kicking and hissing like this, you will wake even StarClan up!" Her neighbor hissed from the next nest over. Roseblossom breathed an apology and saw that the dawn patrol was heading out. Knowing that she couldn't sleep now, Roseblossom walked out of the den, careful to not wake any of the warriors.
She walked into the center of camp, where she was in her dream, and stared into the Leader's Den. Her mind raced about what the dream could have meant. Maybe the leader was in trouble, or was sick. Roseblossom was debating if she should go into the den when someone broke her train of thought."You okay, Roseblossom?" A fellow clanmate asked, concern in his eyes. "Yes, of course. Don't worry yourself, okay?" After a brief nod, the cat left Roseblossom to her thoughts. Then, she remembered that it was her first day to train her new apprentice, Fallenpaw.
Knowing that her new apprentice would probably want some breakfast before starting training, Roseblossom padded out of camp, nodding to the guard as she past him. Quickly, Roseblossom caught two hares and even a plump squirrel for the clan. After returning camp, Roseblossom decided to bring the squirrel to Fallenpaw. She hoped that Fallenpaw would be like her previous apprentice, Fernshadow. Her first apprentice was smart, brave, and took to training very well. Roseblossom knew Fallenpaw's mother and father quite well, and was very good friends with Brownpelt, who had gone back to being a warrior.
The small warrior padded over to the Apprentice's Den, squirrel in jaws. She gazed into to see two apprentices dozing, but none had Fallenpaw's tabby markings. Confused, Roseblossom turned, to find her apprentice staring at her, hazel eyes locked with amber. Roseblossom dipped her head to Fallenpaw, and dropped her prey on the floor. "Eat up, you are gonna need it."
