Eyes shining triumphantly as he mastered another fighting technique, he felt sure that he would easily conquer any enemy that happened to challenge him. He felt ready to fight!! TO CONQUER. TO LIIIIIVE ! Settling down, he sat up a little bit straighter, his whiskers pointing forward in a pleased manner. Looking around lazily, he casually stood up and leaped into the air, claws extended and tail bushed out completely, taking off in a small circle. Eyes wide and his breath coming in short gasps, he was confused as to where this was all coming from. Remembering that he was a dignified member of the community, he calmed himself down for a moment, before taking off in a jagged line in a random direction. Not stopping until he almost ran head first into a peer. Eyes wide and searching, he tilted his head and made a half-attempt at explaining himself, trying not to breathe too heavily. "...There was a.. snake."

"A snake, huh?"
A somewhat chilly breeze swept across the earth, sending cold breath down the spines of those whose fur was shorter then usual. It was a sign that green-leaf was coming to an end, and with it's ending came leaf-fall. Prey would grow more scarce, and the season would fade into leaf-bare. A blanket of white would cover the bare ground bellow and prey would be quite uncommon. Illness would spread throughout the camp, perhaps taking the loves of the elderly and those to young to fight off any sickness. But for now, the clan of water would enjoy the warmer weather while it lasted and not worry themselves with things yet to come.
But the cold was no worry to Hailstorm - her thick white pelt made sure of that. And so, she didn't bother herself with staying in the warmth of the camp or surrounding herself with trees that might block out the wind. Instead, her paws carried her to the bare and open feilds. The wind blew freely here, it's path unblocked by trees or undergrowth. And she welcomed the cold. It was like the red colored muscle that her clanmate's called a heart. Or, at least, that was how the other felines saw her - cold as ice.
And, not long into her journey through the wide, open space, another figure collided with her, sending her staggered a tail length or two away from where she stood. Upon turning to see who had bumped into her, she dicovered it was none other then Ashcloud. "It was a... snake..." he had muttered in defence to the meow she had left unspoken.
"Good morning, Ashcloud," she greeted, the amused glitter in her eyes that was present only heartbeats earlier fading. "Funny seeing you here. I thought I was alone out here today... It seems like everyone else is avoiding the 'cold'. But, if you ask me, it's not that chilly out today." The warrior paused, allowing her aquaintence take in and respond to everything she said. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to babble... Please, excuse my extensive talking..." She dipped her head respectively, letting her different colored eyes close before she rose up once again to meet his eyes.
"What might you be doing out here so early? If it's not to rude of me to ask..."

*Whitepaw*
The young apprentice wandered around RiverClan with her mind on what happen during that fight with that Rogue. He had almost taken something away from her forever and she would have rather been dead then be useless to her clan. Whitepaw had taken a couple of moons to heal from that fight. Her eye had been in bad shape and Beewhisker couldn't do anything to fix it. All the Medcine could do was heal it and keep infection out while it healed. It was almost like starting all over in her training once healed. Whitepaw learned fast at least and was doing much better. She was still better then Shockpaw who still had trouble with his own training. Oh well it wasn't her fult and she was still able to be a warrior at least. It was have killed Whitepaw if she was told that she couldn't be a warrior anymore the day her wounded face was hit. Suddenly She found herself with two other clan mates. It was Ashcloud and Hailstorm talking; but Ashcloud seemed to be acting strange "Ashcloud, are you OK" she ask in worry. Whitepaw look at him with her one good eye and you could tell she was worried about him. He didn't spend much time with her; but she would talk with him some times during sreaching tongue. He was very nice once you get to know him and then he doesn't seem very cold "Ashcloud; what wrong" she said with a worried frown.

A wry smile twisted its way across Ashcloud's silvery grey maw. He realized how ridiculous his excuse was once he said it, but there was no taking it back, and obviously, it would be strange if he did not stick to this plan. As a stiff breeze blew across the blank field, he barely felt it beneath his thick coat. His leaf-bare pelt was already starting to come in. He felt vague excitement for the coming of the snow, but he also did not like the lack of food and supplies that came with it. His eyes narrowed against the sunlight. Not quite sunhigh yet, it was directly in his face, highlighting the tips of his fur and bleaching his eyes a bright yellow. Exhaling, he felt that he was sane enough once again to reply in a proper manner.
He studied the companion that sat before him on this morning. She almost reminded him of his past mate. Remembering with a twinge of dissatisfaction her face, his tail tip flicked in an irritated manner. He wondered what his kits were life, if they survived the past seasons. He also wondered what happened to her, and if she had stayed with that tom who was so willing to comfort her in such times of need. Dropping back to the matter at hand-- oh, how he hated when he sank into reveries such as those-- he focused on the she-cat that had greeted him.
"Good morning, Hailstorm." He examined her from head to tail. He hadn't spent much time around her lately, or ever, really. He was curious about her. He noticed that their clanmates tended to avoid her if possible. His thought paused momentarily when he caught the conclusion of her statement. Dipping his fine head in amusement, he audibly agreed that it was not too cold out, and that it was a rather nice temperature to go for a walk. Whiskers pointed forward in amusement, he accepted her apology and replied to her inquiry. "I am simply enjoying the day. It is a terrible thing to attempt sleep when one is surrounded by great snoring lumps who--" What could have turned into a rant was abruptly cut off by the appearance of a young clanmate that had joined their small party.
Dipping his head respectfully towards her, he remained ever distant as he bade her a good morning. Feeling the slight sting of embarrassment on his face, he summed up as much dignity as possible, and told her simply that there was a snake. In reality, the sudden cold snap of the weather had given him an added dosage of energy that he hadn't had since he was a young kit. Even though he enjoyed such rare bursts of energy, they were not fitting for a warrior. No longer was he a kit, but a warrior. It was so hard to remember this at times. Especially when leaf-fall was so close at hand. The leaves were always so tempting. At times, he wished that he had just dropped out of being in a clan altogether. If he were a loner, there would be no one to judge his actions, no one to think about him. He heaved a small sigh, knowing that this was quite impossible.
