Lying quietly among the pristine white lillies, Storm purred in contentment. The shade from the tall flowers sheilded her from the harsh sun, and the sound of songbirds filled the garden. Storm loved the peaceful serenity of her garden, and the soft scent of flowers in the air during all seasons. From where she laid, she had the perfect veiw of her early morning garden. She saw her pond, the occasional flicker of gold the only sign of life within it. Oppisite of the pool where Rose and Gardenia bushes, with baby's breath and lamb's ear sticking out from underneith. Those had to be two of Storm's favorite plants in teh garden. So soft, and the scent was wonderful.
Closing her bi-colored eyes, she began to purr her contentment. She loved it here, though it was a little bit lonely with Mistress gone. Still, she was happy here in her own little world, where anything could be anything, like in those fairytales Mistress would read to her. About a tiny owner, and a beanstalk, and fairies and princesses. Storm just had to smile, thinking about the stories. They where so out-of-this-world, yet so enjoyable and believable at the same time. If only she could be a part of a fairytale...

A tom cat walked further and further from the forest and wondered into the Kitty-pet territory. He was looking for more members for his little rogue group that he had growing. He was constantly wondering around looking for those specific members. He caught the scent of a well cleaned cat. One that smelled oddly of flowers and things. As if she was a kittypet of some sort.
He followed her scent into the yard to see a bicolor she-cat staring at everything dreamily. He had to admit it was a nice pretty setting. One he could use for his advantage. He drew closer to the she-cat and spoke very smoothly and calm. "Is this place your home?"
After he said the words.. He wondered why he had said them. They seemed to simple.. They weren't complex enough for him to confuse her and make her his.. He needed something more.. But First see the she-cat's reaction. Each She-cat was the same.. Though that mattered not. For he liked their interest of his beauty and strength. He liked their sparkling eyes upon first seeing him. It was one of those best moments.[/blockquote]

The white she-cat looked up, jerked out of her thoughts by a harsh voice. Her blue and green eyes held confusion in them as she stared at the tom. Wasn't it obvious that this was her home? Why else would she be laying here, completely at ease? "Yes, it is. May I ask, who are you," She replied, pushing herself up painfully into a sitting position. Her pads where hurting again, dispite the medicine Mistress put on them. It was a horrid curse, just like the proncesses in the stories.
The thought gave her a smile. Her, Storm, a princess? Mistress often called her a Princess, but the idea was far out there. Storm blinked, scolding herself silently. You have company. Don't go spacing out, it's rude. She took some time to take in the tom now. He had a rough look about him, and a dominate glare in his eyes that made her shiver. He was a scary-looking cat.

The tom nodded looking around admiring the view. Actually thinking that he was curious about the place. He liked how the grasses and plants seemed to have a tamed wild look about them. Made him think of the forest only tamer. As he thought on it more.. He realized he actually hated the place. It was to calm.. It didn't fit home.. His true home. The place he plans to take. He approached the she-cat like that of a cat of strength and dominance. The she-cat was pretty and smelled unique. She would be very useful to him. She could give birth to warriors. Warriors who will be the neo Shadowclan.
"This place.. Its very beautiful. Though even you seem to outshine it."
he said smoothly. Amazed by his own motives. Why a kitty-pet? Why rogues.. Why loners? Had he really sunk so low he mated with every cat to get revenge? When truly the one cat he wanted was to die under his claws. The she-cat that had got him exiled. Who had fought back and screeched the word help. How dare that one she-cat escape. Even his own sister couldn't.. She was kin. He looked at the she-cat more closely now. He seemed to be less than three feet away. He had been slowly getting closer to her without even thinking about it. She was a breath away and smelled delicious. She was soft he could tell that much from any point of view. She looked to be a she-cat of great kittens. Kittens that will become the forest's greatest warriors. His piercing green eyes looked down her taking in every curve and unique abilities. He thought away form the mind of a warrior and that of a fighter. He thought not of her as a kitty-pet but as an apprenticed. He saw her strengths and weaknesses. She was soft and kind. Something he could easily break her off with a little charm and strength. He spoke once more. As if to foreshadow her possible fate. "Many queens have given birth.. Though very few have been warriors. You are one of those she-cats. A great warrior."[/blockquote]

Storm watched the tom, slightly curious about why he seemed so at home here, in another cat's yard, without in invitation. Among the housecats she knew, it was considered rude. Well, perhaps he wasn't a housecat. he did have a wild, stray scent to him. Perhaps he had no Master or Mistress as she did. The thought brought the feeling of pity to the sweet little she-cat. Which she might not have felt if she knew who this tomcat truely was.
His compliment brough the heat of a blush to the white cat's ears. How gentlemanly! "Why thank you! You're rather nice for a stray," She said, giving him a warm smile. Dispite his rough appearance and strange, dominant stature, he was rather kind. Perhaps he was like the princes in the fairytales that Mistress told her! The thought brought a race of excitement to Storm's heart. Of course it wasn't true, but it was still a nice thought.
She stood, tail waving. He still hadn't told her his name, she realized. Well, maybe he wasn't a complete gentleman. His next statement brought back memories, just from his use of the word 'warriors'. Her mother used to tell her stoires of the warrior wildcats and clans. Her mother said they both where one of them, the one callsed 'Riverclan', and Storm had always wanted to find this 'Riverclan', but couldn't due to her health and paw pads.
"Warrior? Are you from the Wildcat Clans? My mother told me stories of them when I was little!" She meowed, no longer staring at him in curiousity, but admiration. Though she admired him only from coming form the same place her mother had spoken so fondly of. He had also said she was a great warrior! Her motehr wanted her to be one. So if one of the Wildcats who lived in the clans said she was, that must mean she was a great warrior!

Monster nodded at her compliment. He moved his tail into the form of a hook. He took a step closer to her drawing her in. She was so perfect.. So unprepared. She continued to look at him as if in deep thought. She was probably drawn to his face and strength he figured. He didn't realize she knew anything about the clans. Very few rogues and Kitty-pets.. In fact he had met none that actually did. When she suddenly burst out about the Wildcat clans. He toke a step back. Shock written all over his face. He soon hid it of course. But it was there. He of course took the advantage and sailed in. Why not? He was already exiled.. What's the worst they could do to him. Wasn't like their truly was a Starclan. "Yes, I am one of those cats. I was trained by the best. I used to be a leader."
He replied softly.. As if stroking the memory. Leader.. He brought great things to Shadowclan.. Why did they ever kick him out.. He'll never understand. He was simply trying to create more warriors. It was just all that one she-cat's fault. Her fur was white..[/blockquote]

Storm was struck by awe, her eyes practically shining from it. "Leader..." From what she remembered of the stories, the leader of the clan was like a king from her fairytales. She really was in teh presence of a storybook prince! Her mother always said that the leader of the clan was always noble and strong, and always stuck to the warrior code. Though Storm remembered little of what the warrior code was, she knew it was basically the rules that the wildcats followed.
"Which clan did you lead? I remember mother said there was a Riverclan, and Thunderclan, but I don't remember any of the others..." She said, frowning before she perked back up. "She was a warrior, too you know. I think she said that we where Riverclan," She said, excited to have finally met one of the cats who had possibly knew her mother. Maybe she herself was a warrior, too, because her mother was one. She had always told Storm that she would one day be a warrior as well, but she thought that day would never truely arrive.

The she-cat seemed ever more awed by the reply. Monster felt himself straighten up and trying to look like that of a leader. The she-cat spoke quickly but he caught ever word. His mind computed that she wanted to know what clan he had came from. However what really got his attention was that she was born from a warrioress in Riverclan. He put together that the she-cat was either from Riverclan or Thunderclan. He felt curious to know which one.. His knowledge and the will to share his history made him momentarily forget his goal. He rarely did talk with a cat that knew nothing and yet more then others. "I came from Shadowclan. The silent strong warriors of the forest. We love our pine territory. We would not be able to live free without it. For shadowclan cats do not swim."
Monster suddenly felt some of his sense of wanting power and extremeness fade into the honor he had as a warrior before the one she-cat had taken it all away. He looked over at the kitty-pet with a anew high interest and truth. [/blockquote]

Storm looked up on the proud tabby with shining eyes, soaking up his words eagerly. He had awoken that yearning inside of her, that need to stalk the forest as a healthy cat, and not one which needed to lay in her garden, off of her paws. She wanted to run through the forest, glide effortlessly through water, not lay here uselessly, listening to airy fairytales. She wanted to be apart of the fairytales, too!
"So you didn't know any other clans, then?" She asked, disappointment sparking in her heart. She had hoped that she would learn of her mother. However, excitement grew again soon. Still, any taste of the life she dreamed of was b etter than none

His pride, built up to get him to think of his future goal. He would show that she-cat. He would lead tehm to believe that Starclan itself had fallen to the earth. That he once leader of Shadowclan is the leader of Fallen Starclan. He heard the she-cat's words and though them through. Twisted them so they would be useful to him. He gave a smile as he imagined the light gently hitting against him. "Oh.. I know of them. You see as once leader of Shadowclan, I had died and joined the stars. The stars of dead cats and ancestors. I had actually, watched over all the clans till the time of our rebirth came. I am a dead tom returning from once was his."
He felt the lie swim up his body to his shoulders. He felt the slip of his tongue. He felt as though he truly was the lie and that the lie was not a lie at all. He was certainly as skillfull in this art as Diablo his assistant.[/blockquote]

Storm's eyes glittered, naive belief shining through them. She foolishly believed everything the tom said. Shame upon the darness the seeks to spoil her sweet light! Still, believe him she did, and the darkness began to lick at her pure innocence. "Really and truely? That means you're an angel as well as a king! Can I help you?" She spoke egarly, like a kit wanting to help her father with some grown-up task. Little did she know she was accually speaking to her father, whom she had never known.

How naive and innocent the she-cat was! She truly was a kitty-pet and one so willing to explore the outside world. It is as if she was meant to meet him here. She can be of great use. "It depends are you so willing to join me in the forest? You will have to make the choice to give this all away. If you were to choose the path of which I came."
He eyed her carefully with his bright green eyes.[/blockquote]

The innocent excitement drained slowly from the kittypet's body. Leave? Why must she leave? Why could she not stay? For her to leave would break her person's heart. She'd never hear a story again. Never would she walk among the flowers in the garden. True, she wanted to be a warrior like her mother, but was it worth it, to give all she cherished?
She stood, and padded painfully around, stopping to sniff the flowers, to watch an insect, all the while limping on her pained pads. Could she live outside of her fairyland, when she lived with such pain? She looked back over her shoulder, solemnly pinning the tom with an unnerving gaze. Then again, wouldn't the king of angels protect her? He must have come for her, so who was she to deny? Smiling as she padded up to him, she gave her answer. "I'll come."
