She tried to move butt silently as Fellpaw, she really did, but it was just so hard! So many twigs cracked underpaw, previously unsensed, so many bushes she crashed through, unseen. The delicate tabby paused in an area she thought was mosty clear. Her ears swiveled, gathering sounds from the air as easily as others collect sight.
The sound of rushing water was close, maybe just a few foxlengths away. Not the same as the lake, so this must be the Moor Stream, seperating the Thunderclan and Windclan territories. So, she knew somewhat where she was. Walking carefully ahead, Banepaw crouche at the water's edge, lapping up cooling liquid. Now she pondered a more pressing problem; Where was Fellpaw?

Falconpaw padded nonchalantly towards the Moor Stream. He needed to let off soem steam adn get a drink. The angular red tom ambled onward, watching as more and more trees began to appear. He was getting closer. He sniffed the air, hoping to scent the refreshing scent of catmint, when a foresty, musky aroma filled his nostrils. He crumpled up his nose. He knew that fragrance anywhere: ThunderClan. Falconpaw made a note to watch carefully as he padded up tot he stream to take a sip. He lapped the water cautiously, his eyes focused on the woods in front of him as he drank. Then he noticed a ligth brown tabby. A she-cat. She was pretty for a ThunderClanner. Falconpaw lifted his head watchfully and sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws. " Hey. I'm Falconpaw. Who're you? "

[blockqoute] The pretty young she-cat turned, searching. She heard something, she knew it, but whatever it was it was too quiet for even her delicate ears to fully pick up. It drove her nearly insane, her functioning senses unable to compensate for her own shortcomings. Squeezing her eyes shut in concentration, though it would have made no difference, she strained her ears ever more.
"Hey. I'm Falconpaw. Who're you?"
She tensed, suddenly thinking to catch the scent of the strange cat. Inhaling sharply, sshe quickly identified the straange cat. Male, Apprentice, as if his name didn't say that already, and Windclan. She muffled a hiss under her breath. How could she be so stupid? Going out without even Fellpaw to help her! I don't need aanyone to protect me! I'm blind, not some helpless kit! she thought, then straighted into a dignified stance. "I'm Banepaw. What do you want?" [/blockquote]

Falconpaw blinked innocently, scanning her with his green eyes. She was feisty and dignified, almost like his sister. Banepaw, he thought. What an interesting name. Banepaw was very pretty with her light brown tabby fur and her light green eyes that were similar to his own. The intrigue in her voice made him shuffle in his seat, adjusting his position. Now that he'd thought abotu it, this cat wasn't like his sister. Banepaw was more proud, more sure of herself. It kinda made her seem more sophisticated and pretty in a light. He was thinking so much abotu her he forgot that she'd asked him a question. " I-I was just getting a drink. You got a problem with that? " He said it with a small smile, making him seem less threatening. He hoped she thought he was cute.

[bloackquote] Siniffing distainfully, Banepaw was secetly pleased. the tom stuttered, which meant no matter how proudly he spoke, she had scared him! "Just stay on your side of the river, Windclanner," She spoke confidently, sitting as she reached a paw up to her maw, licking her sharp claws in a silent display of strength. Heh, see? The Wind-clanner is scared of you! you don't need FEllpaw, She said to herself, not noticing his small smile. How could she, when she was blind? Preoccupiedshe lowered her paw, her face still directed towards the tom, earsw pricked for any sound of movement.[/blockquote][
