female . 8 moons . Windclan . Medicine Cat Apprentice
A tall silver spotted tabby she-cat with yellow eyes.
Dapplepaw is young, but a good size for her age. She's thin and lanky with an extensive tail and legs. Her whiskers are white, long, and droopy and her ears protrude largely from the top of her head. She's got roundly wide, yellow eyes that stare intently at everything (though, not for very long as her attention is flighty). Her neck is long, her chest is shaped, and her paws are dainty. She has smokey grey and black spots and stripes over top of her heather-colored coat which matches the color of her nose. Her chest, belly, and muzzle are a crisp, clean white.
Dapplepaw has always had a kind-hearted, energetic curiosity. She is always excited to learn new things and it was suggested to her to put her desire to learn to use and become a Medicine Cat Apprentice. She's nosy, loud, fast-paces, and spacey, but knows when to get down to work...even if she doesn't always do just that. She enjoys hunting and walking through the forest part of the territory, often putting her nose, eyes, and ears to work absorbing as much as she can. Her long legs make her an excellent runner and she enjoys it quite thoroughly. Physical activity excites and stimulates her, but settling down to study and concentrate hard, using her head for things, excites her all the same. She's usually happy and does not let things get to her...usually. Compliments are always a confidence booster to her, so she tries to dish out as many compliments to other people as she can. She tries to spread positivity as much as she can, especially as a medicine cat in training and seeing pain in others so often.
Dapplepaw had a relatively undramatic kithood. As she is only 8 moons old, she is still rather young. Her mother gave birth to three kits including Dapplepaw. While still in the nursery, Dapplepaw and her siblings were close but differed in their interests, Dapplepaw preferring to hunt and adventure while her two brothers enjoyed fighting. As kits, they visited the apprentice den often, trying to learn what the apprentices had freshly learned, however, Dapplepaw often made her way to the elder den as well, asking for stories from the seasoned members of the clan while grooming ticks and beetles out of their pelts. She was always curious and liked to learn. Recently apprenticed, only about two moons ago, Dapplepaw was excited at the prospect of becoming a medicine cat apprentice, even if she hadn't quite been interested in herbs and poultices as a kit. She knew if she were to become a warrior, she'd have to learn to fight, where as if she were to become a medicine cat, she could avoid the violence and still enjoy learning valuable skills.
Dapplepaw's mother was never much of a fighter when she was a warrior. She had the same lanky build that Dapplepaw has now grown into, however, she got her pelt markings from her father. While Dapplepaw was still in the nursery, her father visited once everyday, but not for very long. He'd give a hello to his mate and kits, perhaps bring some food and share a quick description of his daily patrol, and then be out. Dapplepaw, to this day, is still very close with her mother and visits her regularly, but not as much with her father. She finds she can't relate as much with her father as her brothers can because her father was such a single-minded, fighting warrior. She now not only takes knowledge from her parents and mentor, but also shares things with other apprentices, warriors, and elders. She enjoys being verbal with her clan mates, one of her favorite things to do, and she is excited to be able to go to gatherings with the clan some day soon.
